If you simply step through the old wooden doors of Salem Walmers Union Church, you will feel the love and holiness of the people within it. Although the church itself is not huge, everyone’s faith is. Led by Pastor Bob Sim since 2009, the church is a perfect example of how a church family should be. No one judges each other’s denominations- in fact; Walmers is both Lutheran and UCC in one! No matter what faith you have, you are treated as a child of God here. At Walmer’s Church, all are welcome!

Our Mission Statement

The mission of Salem Walmers Union Church is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and minister to the communities in and around the Indiantown Gap area, as well as the entire body of the Christian church. Our mission involves creating and maintaining a place where people of all types and backgrounds can be nurtured and discipled into faith in the Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We will accomplish this by staying true to our heritage, history, style of worship and study, and the simple values of honesty, hard work, faithfulness, humor, financial support and dedication that have kept us going since our founding. We pledge our lives to the support of our leaders and pastors, in covenant with each other, and Jesus Christ our Lord, to demonstrate and share our experiences and faith with all those we come into contact with now and in our future.
